Description

Join us for a transformative day at the eco-centre and farm Siolta Chroi, tailored for youth workers who are passionate about empowering the next generation to create meaningful change. As part of the Erasmus+ “Soil Soul Society” project, this multiplier event is designed to equip youth workers with the tools, insights, and inspiration to foster environmental and social regeneration.

Over one full day, we will explore the deep connections between soil health, personal well-being, and community resilience. Through practical workshops, collaborative learning, and engaging activities, participants will:

  • Deepen their knowledge: Understand the critical role of soil in sustaining ecosystems and communities.
  • Reimagine youth work: Discover innovative approaches to integrate nature-based learning into youth development.
  • Gain hands-on experience: Participate in regenerative farming practices and apply these methods in real-world contexts.
  • Strengthen facilitation skills: Learn techniques to inspire and engage young people in restoration and sustainability projects.
  • Access valuable resources: Receive educational materials, tools, and methodologies developed within the Soil Soul Society project to enhance your work with youth.

This weekend is an opportunity for youth workers to recharge, connect, and collaborate with like-minded peers. Together, we’ll explore how restoring the land can also restore the spirit and strengthen society. Leave equipped with actionable strategies and a renewed vision to guide young people toward a sustainable and resilient future. Join us in creating ripples of change that begin with soil and extend to soul and society.

This activity is a multiplier event, part of the Erasmus+ project “Soil, Soul, Society – holistic approaches for youth development,” a Cooperation Partnership funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, between Dreams for Life from Romania, Siolta Chroi from Ireland and KobieTY from Poland.
