Background
Sive lives in Leitrim and is a trainer in the field of global education with a background in theatre and in human rights and development. During the 2000s she lived in Southern Africa and completed studies in adult education in Cape Town before returning to Ireland in 2012. She has gone on to facilitate workshops and learning programmes connecting global citizenship, justice and creative practice — including running a Global Citizenship Education workshop in Carrick-on-Shannon in partnership with Comhlámh.
Approach & philosophy
Sive's facilitation draws on theatre as a tool for inquiry — helping groups explore difficult questions about justice, ecology and community in embodied, creative ways. At Síolta Chroí, she contributes to courses and trainings that connect ecosystem restoration with the human stories and systems around it.
